Experience Description

We will cross the Tagus River on the east side of Lisbon via the Vasco da Gama Bridge, one of the largest bridges in Europe, as we depart from Lisbon on this leisurely tour. On the southern banks, there are mangroves and swamps where Flamingos nest. After arriving in Palmela, a village in the Arrabida Mountain region, we will be treated to stunning views of the Troia Peninsula and the Atlantic Ocean. The purpose of this stop is to motivate you for future adventures, either on a smaller family vineyard that mainly supplies local businesses like restaurants directly or on a family vineyard that expands to rank among Portugal's most significant wine producers. We have created a Half Day that will stimulate all five of your senses, and we will let the flavors, colors, and aromas speak to you.

We will see the picturesque Palmela Castle and stop briefly on our way to the Arrabida mountainside. Here, we will go on a breathtaking panoramic tour, making a few stops to capture the breathtaking scenery on camera.

After visiting the castle, we will have some free time. Our guide would recommend the ideal spot to taste the local wine, but it’s a question of availability.
